BLOOM 2024 - APPLECROSS WESTERN AUSTRALIA
The artwork BLOOM is a welded all-aluminium form with highly detailed engraved surfaces taken from almond blossom that grows in the artist’s studio.
The artwork inhabits a very small floor space outside the residential complex Grandton which is designed for seniors. The artist wanted to create a work both masculine in form, but with a delicacy and fineness suggesting a world within. The changing
